| Currently there are several options to study Games Development at ECU. Although running as a series of separate courses, students of each course are offered opportunities to work alongside students of other courses in a multi-disciplinary team. In addition, courses can be combined by taking second majors, minors, or supporting majors. |

This is an undergraduate degree in Computer Science offered by the School of Computer and Information Science at ECU. In the Bachelor of Computer Science, students complete a common first year before choosing two majors. The Games Programming major focuses on 2D and 3D graphics, interaction, and simulation programming. Aspects of game design, production and 3D modeling are also covered. |

| Graduate Diploma of Games Programming | This is a graduate degree offered by the School of Computer and Information Science, intended for those who already have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent area. |

| Master of Game and Simulation Programming | New for 2009 - This is a graduate degree, two years full time. |

Bachelor of Creative Industries (Major in Game Design and Culture) |
This undergraduate degree is offered by the School of Communications and Contemporary Arts. This course covers the social impact of games, psychological and social principles of game design, and the development of visual media for games. |

| Bachelor of Science (Digital Media) | Run collaboratively by the School of Computer and Information Science and the School of Communications and Contemporary Arts, this undergraduate degree focuses on the production of digital content. Skills integrated include computing, communications, design and visual production. | |
